“As a participant in the ICA Conference held in Nepal I was most impressed by the professionalism of the ICA Nepal staff in running the event. They were very courteous and well-informed about all the questions I asked (both as a conference participant and as a visiting tourist). The hotel staff, likewise, were very helpful and made my staff most pleasant. It is to the credit of the ICA Nepal staff and personnel that the event was such a success.”  John Miesen, ICA Australia

mati“Music, song and dance were ever-present throughout the conference – on stage as cultural performance but also among the group as an every-day means of expression, when language was not available or just not enough! I was impressed by the very energetic and professional team of ICA Nepal, by the range and quality of their programme activities as well as their conference organization, and by how very well embedded they seem to be into national civil society and even national life. Several people I spoke with were profoundly moved by their experience of the conference, one describing it as the most important thing they had ever done!” Martin Gilbrath, President ICAI

dev"My involvement with ICA Nepal didn’t start with just as a participant of the conference, ICA Nepal has been very supportive. It has been guiding me throughout my struggle to personal growth and my work for community development. Representing progressive women’s group in the conference is a memorable experience for me.” Devaka Shrestha, Progressive Women’s Group Changunarayan, Bhaktapur

ger"The conference was well organised and run in a professional manner. From arrival I felt the warmth of Nepal people and the peace that exists among the people. The conference offered space for interaction and learning particularly the topics on climate change brought relevance to the current challenges that the world is facing and offered us a chance to deliberate on ways of overcoming these challenges. The panels were led by qualified people and I learnt a lot in the area of education, ToP and climate change and also the youth participation was great which enabled the youth and adult relationship strengthened and the youth felt as part of the solution rather than the problem. Well done to the entire staff of Nepal for a job well done." Gerald Gomani, Zimbabwe
